History
CES Leeds is part of the Centre of English Studies, a group of award-winning language schools founded in 1979. For over four decades, CES has welcomed students from all over the world, combining high academic standards with a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

Security
Students and Group Leaders should wear their lanyard at all times on the campus. If you don't, you will be asked to return home to collect it!!
If you are worried about somebody you see on the campus, tell a member of staff.

FIRE INSTRUCTIONS CAN BE FOUND ON THE WALL IN EACH ROOM. IF YOU SEE A FIRE, PLEASE SOUND THE FIRE ALARM. ON HEARING THE FIRE BELL (A LONG, CONTINUOUS RING):
If a fire alarm goes off during class, DO NOT PANIC!
Listen to your teacher’s instructions and leave the room quietly. Follow your teacher. Leave your bags and coats behind.
Do not stop to talk to friends or to search for them in a different room.
Once outside walk calmly away from the exit (the Main Front door) and, with the rest of your class and your teacher. Turn left and walk along Park Place and wait outside Savill’s Estate Agents. Your teacher will check your name off on the class list. Stay with your class at all times
If a member of your class is missing, tell your teacher. DO NOT go looking for him/ her.
Your teacher will tell you when it is ok to go back into the building. NEVER GO INSIDE UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD IT IS SAFE
